Two New Clubs to Open Soon @ DW Fitness
Two new clubs to be added to the DW Fitness Clubs chain @ Blackpool & Ipswich
The chain has two new clubs being prepared and will be opening within the next 4 - 6 months, one in Ipswich and the other in Blackpool. DWfitnessclubs was previously JJB fitness clubs before being brought by Dave Whelan. This will bring the club chain to a total of 63 clubs within the UK. The latest addition to the chain was DWFitness in Sunderland.

Virgin Active to acquire Esporta Health Clubs
Virgin Active in an agreement to acquire Esporta Health Club chain
The Esporta business operates 35 health and fitness clubs and
20 racquet clubs in the UK and has 159,000 members. the conditional offer which Virgin Active are fully expecting to be granted will enhance their network of clubs adding to their portfolio which already consist of clubs in Italy, Spain, Portugal and South Africa. The addition of the Esporta Health Clubs chain will boosts their UK chain to 124.
